2010 335 to 2013 M3? Someone talk me into/out of it
So here's the deal, I have a e92 335 now coming off it's 3 year lease soon. Before that i had a 2007 335i sedan for 3 years. So 6 years of having an N54 (and not one bad fuel pump..... I've been lucky I guess).
This is my current car: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=361677 So I have a chance to turn this car in at lease end and lease a new M3 pretty much fairly loaded the way I want it for only about $100-150 more per month than I'm paying now. I like my car, it only has 30k and has given me no problems. With coilovers and other mods it's a fun and quick car. So is the M3 really worth it? For people that have gone from modded 335 to M3 do you ever regret it? I'm close to pulling the trigger, but just want some advice from others before i do. |

I made the jump from a tuned 335 to an M3 and havent regretted it for a second! This even being that I live in Denver which is a mile high and NA engines lose A LOT of power up here. Its kind of a hard pill to swallow when all of my friends who drive tuned 335s smoke me at the drag strip. But when I hear that V8 growl and scream to 8400RPM then it makes it all worth it! The M3 is sooo much more fun to drive and better sounding. DO IT!

If there was ever a time to get into a new M3 now is a great time. a lot of great incentives via BMWFS available. Dont wait to long the incentives will be gone and so will the e9xM3

Exactly, the deals are what makes this somewhat possible for me right now. I've already gotten in contact with Francesca on quotes and such.

From what I've been reading you may enjoy the next m3 more. The F30 reads like it will be a 335 on steroids, which I don't think is how someone would describe the experience of driving the current m3.

Then watch him sharpen his pencil (do shop around for the best deal and lease arrangement unless you already done so). Good luck

Now is a great time to lease an E92/E93 M3. To experience the S65 is intoxicating. However I foresee resale values taking a nose-dive, now that we know the F32/F82 is guaranteed to be a really good looking car. Same thing happened with the E60 M5.

i started out looking for a 335,expanded my horizons to an m3,and am so glad i did.there's an amazing amount of attention to engineering detail in this car,by some highly qualified people.the engine is amazing,as others have said, and the suspension has a lot of unique (to the m3 ) parts that really make a difference.that the engineers put that much into an unseen part of the car speaks volumes.it's a lot more than a trim package.
check out the suspension analysis here= http://blogs.insideline.com/roadtest...alkaround.html you can feel all that when you bend it into a curve. Last edited by bimdo; 12-05-2012 at 04:13 PM.. |

Believe You'd love the M, but if it's all about the straight line quickness...may not be the right move for you.
