Field Report

At my local dealer for free carwash and see they are ordering some wild cars!

Totally love the JAVA GREEN e92- yes I saw the pics in the older thread , they do it NO justice- like many I look down on the idea of a bright green car but THIS I would own.

6 series Grancoupe- a BIG sedan and in FROZEN BRONZE- very nice but multiple "do not touch paint" signs on car make you wonder about owning it!

Blue M5- much lighter, even indoors, than pics I've seen- don't like- toyish, not at all classy IMO. BTW side grills are hideous in person- first M5 I've seen in person- not impressed.

X 1- had awesome looking copper trim- wish I could get that for my car- favorite auto trim EVER.

Looks like BMW is chasing the 1% ers- green M3 was close to 90K, M5 ~105, Grancoupe ~ 112 with custom interior.

Sorry phone camera busted.

Don't touch the frozen car?! It's designed to be easily washable, I say touch away! It's a freaking exterior paint job, not a oil painting, geez...

I told them they were making it seem awful delicate! BTW I've never washed my car- thats why I got AW. No swirls to be seen.

This was Monte Carlo Blue? Personally, I think MCB looks great on a smaller sporty car like the M3, but the M5 is a little too big and "executive" looking for such a light blue. A more sedate Singapore Gray seems more appropriate for the M5.

Side grills can be swapped out for OEM black ones that look much better. Some people have been able to order them as a factory build option.
