would you say a whole spool of thread or just a few strands of thread remain?

i bought the spare 19x9 ZCP rim. beautiful rim. too bad billy packed it with zero protection. he simply threw it in a fedex box exactly 20x20x12 and threw a little bubble wrap on the top . no protection at all for the sides. The rim ended up damaged on two sides and he now will not respond. a little extra cardboard on the sides, and a little more protection on top and this would have never happened. i would not buy anything from him that requires him to pack anything. he has no idea how to pack for shipping. face to face would be the only way i would purchase from him.

damn. man sorry to hear that.. i hate it when things are underpacked. if you dont know how to do it, then drop it off at a packaging store.

maybe he will help you to pay for the damage?

he'd have to respond for that to happen. it really is a shame as the rim was perfect before he shipped it. i pack everything like it is waterford crystal.

Can you file a claim with the shipping company? I'm glad I didn't buy from him when I was looking for a replacement. Good luck.
