Hello! New to the M3 world
Hello Everyone,
I've been posting the past couple of months but ever did an intro thread. I've been a car enthusiast for a long time ever since high school. I've had the chance to own many fun cars and participate in a lot of motorsports. I actively autocross and have participated in track days for the past 15 years. I have instructed at Thunderhill and Laguna Seca during track day groups. I have helped do pit crew duty for the 25 hrs of Thunderhill, went to Fuji Speedway in Japan, tracked at most of the tracks in California and Nevada, go to Drift events... an overall car fanatic! I've always been a Japanese car nut but I took the plunge and purchased a BMW M3. I'm really getting used to the whole "Euro" car feeling and performance tuning. Everything feels a bit alien to me and the BMW is definitely the most different to wrench on out of anything I've purchased. Anyway, the M3 is a blast and I look forward to seeing everyone at meets and on track! The past cars I've owned were: 2000 Honda Civic Si 1991 Nissan 240SX full restoration w/ SR20DET engine swap 2005 Mitsubishi Evo 8 GSR 2008 Mitsubishi Evo 10 GSR Some pics of my previous cars: Civic Si at Laguna Seca 240SX Evo 8 GSR Evo 10 GSR Last edited by Z K; 10-03-2011 at 12:56 AM.. |

Welcome! Nice e90, can respect the JDM past as I myself used to be quite familiar with that side of things.
Edit - Ha, just noticed the original thread date, smh...

I remember you over from evoM on the forums and the track section (username dbsears). Think I actually spoke to you once about Ohlins DFV's back when I had them on my IX MR.
Made the same plunge myself about a year ago, definitely one of the best decisions I made. The E90/E92 is so much less forgiving than the Evo's but it sure is fun. |
