100% true, also speaking from insider knowledge, BC Racing NA specifically R&Ds kits here in USA on numerous test vehicles and provides feedback to manufacturing. They also build alot of the modified/upgraded kits in house here in Orlando,FL. - I know because our shop does most of the testing and measuring for development of these kits for BMW vehicles. I am also currently testing these on our shop M4. - If anyone has any specific questions on BC Racing or their quality and brand, please feel free to PM me. |

I ordered my bc racing/swift combo thru a local indy shop. These are excellent coilovers in my opinion and is a worthy replacement to my EDC suspension with swift lowering springs. Ive had them on for 3 weeks now.

Im thinking of returning my Koni Yellow's and H&R Springs (Sitting at the shop)
How are you liking this BC kit? I would run this kit on an E93 on 19's...It will never hit the track...Thoughts? |

So whats the difference between the springs that come on the coilovers and the swift upgrade? Are either lower? I dont track my car so Im not looking for a super stiff setup. I have swift springs now and like the feel of them.

The swifts have a greater consistency over other springs for heavy track use, they can be upgraded to a higher spring rate but for street the bc springs work great, PM me with any questions on Swifts or BCs.

Thanks for the info!! So if im looking for comfort and the occasional spirited driving the factory coil-over springs should do? I had these coils on my G35 and loved them. By any chance do you know the Maximum lowering specs? I love the way my car sits in the rear now on swift spec-r springs but the front just kills me to look at that gap all the time.

I have BC Coils without the swift spring and I have rode and driven in plenty of M3s on KWs. For street use they are perfect, they are comfortable as hell. my passengers will never complain about bad ride quality and you have the option to slam the car to the ground or give it a subtle drop but the BC coils go very low if your into that. I was worried about losing ride quality but after I set up the dampening properly the car rode perfectly. For the price nothing can come close to these coils imo.

Can anyone with the BC Racing coils and Swift springs give me their settings? Installed some ER coilovers on my E92 M3 and they are extremely bouncy. It's really not comfortable at all. The spring rates are 510 lb front / 800 lb rear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It seems to me that this is a sound option for coils. If you are trying to adjust your rebound and damping you should YouTube how to do it. Start off full soft and go from there. It takes some time but it's worth it to get the perfect "for you" ride that you are looking forward to.

I wrote a review earlier in this thread. Stay away unless you just plan to use it for street driving. The shocks are not good and wear out quickly when you drive it on track. Pillowball mounts will wear out and clunk if you drive on rough roads.

No, this thread has nothing to do with your question.

Reviving this thread. Happy to read great reviews. My EDC struts are basically done for and I'm ordering a set of BC BR's this week. I'm excited. I'm currently on stock struts with swift springs.

also interested in BC as my stock suspension is finally tiring out at 70k. can these be extended to near stock/ZCP height? i'm not particularly interested in slamming the car.

skip the br series and go with the dr series, digressive dampening and the swift spring upgrade make for a great dual duty (street and light track) setup

Do you think the struts contributed to the vibration you were having, or they fully went away when you went up to 19s?
