Maybe go to the revolving restaurant Chateau Lacombe. Go to West Edmonton Mall if you haven't before. Other than that Edmonton doesn't really have anything super special. The restaurants like Corso 32 get voted number 1 in Canada so perhaps check that out.

Side question to fellow Edmontonian's. What is a good shop to get my wheels powder coated from? Any recommendations and price estimates of how much it costs?

Thanks!

Anyone in the Edmonton Area have their Name on the waiting list for the new M2. Arival dates are estimated around April of 2016

Hmm, seems interesting. How does the UBS feature work? Just have a video file saved on a USB like we would music and play the movie from there?

Can it harm the system in any way? Easily reversible?

If it's at a reasonable price, I wouldn't mind checking it out even though I don't really watch movies in the car.

Hey Guys...any locals with an ESS VT-625 car? I would love to meet up and check out your ride. I currently have a Active Autowerkes 650 and I am truly interest in meeting up and seeing what the real world differences there are, if any. I am curious about the sound, power delivery, throttle response etc.

PM me if you are around.

Thanks

Hi, guys. I have been looking into the rod bearing issue that some of our M3's have. Do you know a shop that is capable of performing the rod bearing service in Alberta on our cars? Or, is there anyone who has already performed this service?
Thanks,

Same question here. I have all the equipment and tools to do installs, but no time. Getting quoted 4 hours to install a DP and 10 hours to do springs just isn't realistic. I could do both in under 5. If anyone knows any Indy shops that would actually charge for realistic labour hours vs ridiculous BMW quoted time, please let me know.

Try Eurasia or Alberta Motorworks. Two possibilities or make the trip to Calgary and see some of the guys down there.

Seems to be more variety down there.

I can find the name of one guy in Beaumont, however he is kind of inconvenient. Really solid. And very Indy.

On another note...please stay away from Karmac. I used to take my Porsche there years ago and never was really satisfied with the work.

It still sounds like no one has actually rod bearing service performed yet...
Anyhow, our weather here in Alberta has been exceptionally forgiving this year. I have been very tempted to take my car out of storage the past few days after witnessing a few mustangs and Porsche's. Has anyone taken their cars out yet?

The wife and I were discussing the exact same thing yesterday. So tempting until our winter car was being beaten with sand and gravel by the wind. I cringed! Our dilemma is we can't get the cars safely out of the alley and neighbourhood without damaging the spoilers or undercarriage of the cars. They didn't clear the residential areas this year and as such it's pretty icy and ruttled.

Yea. I believe that is him. I think he had a PY e46 vert for sale last year. If it's the same guy, my initial impression was good.
