Any time I hear B&W, it reminds me of my unattainable dream of Omega Seamasters and McIntosh amps and preamps with B&W (just too many other priorities to comfortably buy that stuff)....I swear a F80 will happen, just takes time....

Btw he dropped coins down every vent in my wife's car too

Got all but one out

Did you do that thing where you use cardboard to make the crate smaller, and then move it back as the infant grows? Our pediatrician told us about the cardboard thing, but my wife didn't like it....

My first girlfriend has a son, but he was overseas with his grandparents when we were dating, but we both had a parent die so we both weren't exactly happy campers... I was depressed, she was lashing out any chance she got, so we left each other very shortly after we committed to each other.

A year later we were back on speaking terms, but just hanging out... But she didn't mind sleeping over, so I was warming her back into at least being FWB. However, her kid was back and it became immediately apparent the kid has autism (which she was in denial about and didn't mention), but I didn't know it at the time, especially not how to handle him.

So... I had $50 protein powder used as confetti, at least 3 walls scribbled on with a Sharpie, one of the plastic covers for the LATCH broken off in my E90, he threw a rice cooker and 3 plates off the 2nd story balcony... ALL WITHIN 4 DAYS.

Ouch on the rice cooker and plates, that could hurt someone...how old was the son? Just wondering...the denial could be only natural, but then the question is if the son could benefit if he had add'l support...

Not my toddler, but my niece last night destroyed an expensive vase my wife had spent months trying to find to fit the decor of our house. I tried snapping a picture for this thread but I wasnt able to sneak it with my wife sitting among the pieces crying.

Best part of all of it is now her family isnt allowed at our house for some time and the kids talk has been shelved for the foreseeable future.

He was 4 at the time. She eventually found someone else... I wonder how the poor guy is coping, but at least the poor kid (probably?) has a father figure now...

But for both their sakes I do hope they have some sort of resource or help with it, because the kid is amazingly destructive; but I think she wasn't exactly aware of him being autistic either, but he showed all the signs.

I have been lucky so far. Only really minor things broken like a cheap lamp. we had kittens before kids. Everything fragile was already destroyed by the cats.
