To save further playing with poster emotions, if you have nothing to add to the Schroth harness Update thread, post it here...

Clearly a few people here not wanting to do much work (or without much to do) on a Friday afternoon -- guilty as charged as well

It is a virtual concept. The ultimate Zen of M3 ownership...that which is sought, but can never be obtained.

In the words of Basho..."Do not follow in the footsteps of the wise, seek what they sought"

Hope this helps...if not, wait a month, or a season, or a year, and read it again

Maybe we should have a "Quick Fit Pro' track event where we all meet somewhere in the country and when/if the "holy grail" of harnesses is actually released, we can each receive our harness in a ceremony fitting for an award show. I for one will have a long list of people to recognize. Follow that up with an installation session, a proper meal, and then track time. Are you listening Schroth?

I've got a great idea--there's obviously so much interest in this product, we should put together a group buy...

I have a Schroth E39 5-series Quik-fit Pro sitting in a box behind me in my home office. If we could find another one maybe they could get together and produce some E92 offspring.

I get the same, if not better results in my Mustang with a CG Lock and a 2-1/2" wide baggage strap around my chest and the back of the seat. It actually provides more lateral stability than over-the-shoulder belts.

I think this is the first non-serious thread in the track subforum.

Is the baggage strap dot approved?

This... every time that other damn thread gets bumped the idea of having it at a track event goes through my mind again! Such a tease!

As a baggage strap, yes. As a seat belt for a passenger vehicle, probably not. But it works!
