will these tire size work?

I have the 18 inches on my e90 m3, i have a set of Michelin pss sitting around from my 335i, and wondering if these size will work. F 245/35/18, R 265/35/18. Only difference is profile size. On the oem m3 18 inches, it's 40 instead of 35. Will running the 35 make a huge difference? Thanks!

Front and rear will be 1" to small in diameter. You can run them but it wouldn't be optimum.

In that case I think it's probably better off that i get new tires. If i want to run as much rubber as possible on the OEM 18" 219M, what sizes will work? I am guessing a F 255/40/18 and R 275/40/18. I have read somewhere that someone is going even wider with F 265/35/18 (which i can re-use my previous rear tires) and R 285/35/18.

Please let me know! Much appreciated!

To be frank on the OEM 219s or the 220s I would keep the OEM sizes.

Gotcha. Honestly wouldn't see much track time, and even if I do, dont think I'll utilize the rubbers to the max anyways. Thanks!
