HELP!

Can someone tell me the name of this part thats bent? I think its "rear arm"? I hit a curb pretty hard. (passenger side) Car is Un-driveble! Looking for the part online...need to know about how much the part and labor would cost, and if any possible any other damage? Thanks

Tie-rod. Similar thing happened to my GLK. I spent around $2100 fixing all of it.

Ouch, looks like an expensive replacement. Hope you get it soon.

Hate to tell you, but I doubt that's the only thing you'll need to replace. Take her in.

that crossed my mind. i see that the parts are all connected in some way...what else could need be replaced? what usually needs replacement with the "rear control arm"?

I was driving in the rain on fresh asphalt and hit a curb in my e90 325i, i forget the exact amount but it was between $3500 and $4000 in suspension damage. I don't have pictures, but my driver side wheel was angled in about 30 degrees when wheel was straight. I can only guess that the price would be much more on an M3.

Im at about 15 degrees when the wheel is straight. Its also pushed against the back part of the wheel well too. thats where its rubbing.
My buddy was telling me, based on the material and the color of the piece thats bent, rear cntrl arm, he thinks that it was designed to bend in such a way to keep from damaging the rest of the suspension. the strut assembly is good. he said that he has seen a rally car wreck where it was hit in the same spot and the three attach to bolts, located above the dampner system under the hood, complety colasped...
I looked online and they have this part listed for less that $100 bucks. (index 8)

it will be hard to tell what else has been damaged. there may be other parts that are slightly bent as well. so you probably have to take it in to a bmw shop or the dealer.

Ya, you just gotta bite the bullet and take it in so they can inspect all the suspension components. Especially if the tire is also pushed back against the quarter panel.

Pop your hood check and see if the top of the strut is messed. Struts go up and down not front to back.

go to realoem.com or bmwfans.info and look under front axle.

to buy parts just go to your local dealer since you are in italy?

as others have said, there could be more things that are bent/broken. You will definitely need an alignment when everything is installed.

Granted I hit my front wheel, but I had to replace upper & lower control arms, tie rod, inner fender lining, and strut mount.

To do that kind of damage you must've hit that curb pretty hard. I bet you bent your wheel too.
