Gintani axle back plus test pipes help

Hey,

I got a good deal on a Gintani axle back and test pipes.. Since i just got my m3, I'm not to familiar with how everything exactly works. My concern is, once i install the Gintani axle back and the test pipes, i know my test pipes will trigger the engine code. Now if i went and tuned the code out, will the engine be compromised in any way in the short or long run due to the new exhaust setup. This tune strictly being a code cancellation tune, not tuning the engine as a whole, that would be farther down the line. Any input would be really helpful.
