Early birthday present
Eisenmann Race finally arrived after a 5 week wait. Going to my local tyre / exhaust place tomorrow to get it fitted (along with some new rear tyres).
Any tips / anything to watch for when fitting this? |

awesome! I really want this exhaust, but didn't know about the [semi-long] wait...i'm very impatient
If I may ask, which pipes did you get to go with it?

It's being fitted rigt now. Very nervous that something will go wrong as per my usual luck. I've bought Eisenmann's connecting pipes - that's all.

Yep - all is good and they didn't mark my rims changing the tyres like some places do.
The Eisenmann looks so much better than the standard exhaust. At work now so will post vids tomorrow. With the comments above I was wondering if it might be a bit too loud. Actually, it's not as loud as I expected, maybe that's not a bad thing though as it will be a DD for the summer as my daughter grabs her car back off me. |

I put on my sport ~ a month ago. I'm already thinking of getting the race. It's easy enough to change out. Did your pipes come with a heat shield?

Umm not sure about the heat shield. They had some kind of white material around them. I never actually unwrapped though as they looked pretty uninteresting. The hanger and the earth straps were broken on the old exhaust. Liking my Eisenmann. I need to hear it from outside the car now. I'm told it sounds fantastic when I'm pulling away. Will vid as soon as I get a chance.

Paid top dollar for it as I'm overseas & the vendors that ship USPS rape you on costs. Maybe put it on over the other shield. If one is good, then two's gotta be better |
