Elaborate please. Do you have direct track experience with them? Specs?
We have been running the Cobalt XR2 and XR5 or 4 pads in time attack racing and track days the past 3-4 years. with championships under the belt.

I also know they make pads for many of the E9X grand am teams that are winning..

I'll hit up our race engineer contact for the pad availability on the brembo kit applications.

I tried several pads on my Brembo M3 GTS BBK (Ferodo, Pagid, Endless) on track and street.
Best overall option is Endless, of course not the cheapest but simply the best.
Less dust, best pedal feel, durable and good to the rotors. Even the Ferodo 3000 race pads were disintegrating from the carrier plate under track usage.
Here they are:

I don't understand why you want to put a high performance BBK on a street car? Why not just paint the calipers for the same effect?

I had them made on special order from Japan in the 24hours Race compound.
Also I had to send a sample pad to Japan before. The whole process took a few month, but now I am glad to have some sets.

I don't mind admitting I did it for the looks and there is no way I would paint my stock calipers.

I've had them fitted for a while now and find the supplied pads perfect for my use. I also added the rears for good measure and had all the rotors dimpled.

Hey that looks awesome.

"drotted" rotors - LOL

Who did that for you? Are you happy with it?

I dimpled them myself, then had them plated. I like the look of drilled, but slotted are best for durability and noise, so this is the best compromise.

No downsides so far.

I bought them from Bimmerworld. I actually ran PFC-01s front and back and didn't think about mixing compounds.

One word of caution, the PFCs do not have retaining clips to hold them in the calipers, so when the brakes get hot, the pads can 'clank' in the calipers at low speed. This doesn't affect performance, but it is disconcerting ans sounds like your brakes are busted. They are great pads on the track. I switched to Hawk DTC-70 pads to see how these would work out, but the Performance Friction are superior in terms of consistency of feel through a 25 minute session. A lot of this is confidence in the initial bite, which seemed to fade on the DTC-70 once hot. The DTCs still slowed me down fine, but I definitely backed off how deep I would go into corners late in sessions.

After the hawks are done, I am going to try Pagids and see how they feel too.

The pagids won't have the same level of initial torque as the PFC01s. Some of them will have that much torque higher in the operating range (RS15). The RS29 is the endurance pad and is very rotor friendly and you shouldn't be able to overheat it. The RS14 and 15 have higher heat limits and friction capability but imo don't release well and are not rotor friendly.

Thanks all. I've decided to go with the Pagid Yellows from Rennstore.com. $1,040 for both front and rear (ouch). My buddies that run them say they last 2x all other pads, if so these will be a bargain compared to PFC or Hawks.
We'll see I guess.

Please keep us updated with how you like them. Gotta pay to play I guess....

I've used the street pads at the track and they seemed fine for me, but I'm still running in the beginner/intermediate group so that might be why.

Never ever will they last longer than Endless. I also tested the Pagid, they are noisy under daily driving conditions and last about the same milage than the Ferrodo 3000īs. Endless is lasting about factor 1.5 of both of them.

I just have the first set build for the X5M also

I just ordered Hawk DTC30s as replacement to the OEM Ferodo's. Im hoping they work as good as the Ferodo's did for me.

Where can I get the endless pads from for next time? and are they too noisy for street or I would need to swap them out after the track?
