The sycamore is almost black..looks really nice. The CF was my first choice until I saw it...considering it is basically unfinished, it brought durability into question (I can see the CF weave getting hung up on something or easily scratched).

I also liked the look and weight saving of the CF roof but considering I like driving with the windows down and moonroof open when it's nice outside, I opted to go with the latter.

I'll get some interior shots this weekend...just purchased a sweet Canon Rebel T1I that I took to Australia last week; the picture quality is incredible!

...only 584 miles to go before the 1200 mile break-in period

Thanks,
SZ

I bought the Sycamore for the same reasons, and because I felt that with black interior the carbon leather would make the interior all black and too much to look at daily. The Sycamore is also luxurious which is an element I wanted in the car.

The moonroof is just plain functional to me. More than the CF that really only functions if you're a track junky, which I'm not.

Canon T1i is the camera I want! Soon, very soon.

Thanks for the feedback! I am really enjoying the ///M. I initially wanted the Fox Red interior but the only one around had no Nav.

The T1I is amazing..I'm sure you know all about the specs. The 55mm IS lens is pretty good but I purchased a 55-250mm IS lens that is great!

The carbon fiber look is a pattern embossed on leather... Not actual carbon fiber.

I really feel fortunate to own such an amazing car. Like I said in a previous post, it has been a long journey...it began in high school (1994) when I fell in love with my first M3.

Actually, I am planning on a set of wheels, exterior bits and an exhaust. Still shopping around for prices.
