AR design xpipe & connecting pipes w/ AR design oem muffler mod.

Just picked my car up from AR Design. Had them fab up a Xpipe/connecting pipe today. New sound is ridiculous!!!! Pretty mellow riding around in the cabin, but once you open it up.... Sweet baby Jesus... I may have him weld in some resonators.

Just got back from the dyno... Holy shit is all i can say....

one run is stock exhaust w/ filter
other run is AR Design full exhaust w/ filter

Keep in mind these runs are up in Colorado, so gonna be lower then sea level obviously
HUGE gains through the whole powerband. 35.5hp and 34 peak tq w/ 40+tq under the curve at spots.

Nice gains. Is AR getting into theM3 exhaust game now, or is this a one off piece?

Looks like a Magnaflow 642-10781 x-pipe section, $96 from Jegs. Put two resonators in it if you want it to be civilized. If you are a young man who wants a mating call, leave it as it is. Have fun. An x-pipe made a huge difference on my car, but I am an old married man and have four resonators.

I don't mean to derail the thread too much.

I came across that Magnaflow 10781 online in the past. How are the internals of the XPipe itself? Do they flow fairly well compared to having an experienced fabricator weld their own from 2 or 4 individual pipes?

We hand fabricate the collectors. We do NOT use a stamped Magnaflow collector.

It was a one off..... But we may consider producing it. We will offer a resonated version if we do. M's car also had a muffler mod, it would be quite a bit mellower with an unmodified rear section.

Also of note, the car was UNTUNED for both pulls.
