anyone know what is going on with martin (autofinesse.us) and detailers domain?

placed an order 10 days ago online and have not heard from autofinesse. emailed Martin today and he told me to talk to detailers domain. now detailers domain is saying items are out of stock and will take 2-3 weeks

i guess i placed the order at a really bad time

I order stuff from detailers domain all the time and never have a problem.

contact the owner, Im pretty sure his contact info is readily available on the website

If you ordered directly from Martin, you shouldn't have to even interact with DD.

As I'm sure you may have seen online, there has been a shift in Auto Finesse USA. It is now taken care of by Detailer's Domain. I don't know when this happened, but Detailer's Domain are the ones to get a hold of.

Yeah but the OP states that he ordered via Martin, not DD. If that's the case, you would think Martin would take care of those customers since they didn't order from DD.

Well he mentioned putting the order "online" 10 days ago. I don't know when the whole transition took place, but that might have been when Detailer's Domain was in the process of taking over all the orders.

I could be wrong though. Martin is a great guy and is always willing to help. If he suggested the OP to discuss things with Detailer's Domain then that may be the only viable option.

I hear great things about Phil@Detailer's Domain as well. Hopefully the OP gets a chance to get a hold of some AF products soon.

I hear ya. I just feel like Martin should be taking care of it if the OP ordered via Martin.

I have used Phil @ DD many times and the service has always been great.

Ok so op did you order through Martin or not? I think regardless if he did or not it's not Martin's responsibility. He has left the company and Phil has decided to handle the responsibilities. If Phil can't match what Martin offered in customer service well then it is what it is

Thanks for the feedbacks.

I ordered through the autofinesse website directly 10+ days ago so am not sure who was really responsible at the time. I do know that DD is in charge of this transaction now. Spoke to Phil at DD through emails yesterday explaining the issue at hand. He explained that the delay was because "Martin had issues clearing customs and from there he released all the duties of AF USA to us (DD)". Phil even said he will ship out the kit I ordered for free.

Wow, I was surprised with the free offer. Just told him we can split the cost because I too ordered from DD before and never had problems and do plan to order more in the future.

Now I feel bad.

I would say no reason to feel bad. If Martin wasn't going to handle orders anymore, he should have shut his e-commerce portion down and not accepted the order. DD is just making up for things to help you out.
