Well I don't like Benz at all but dude to the fact that their bring it over to USA I would get it, so maybe bmw gets the point that many Americans do like special edition cars and are willing to pay the money.

M3 GTS doesnt strike me as special looks wise. Looks like an after thought. Benz looks mean, sounds mean, and probably accelerates like a bat out of hell. For those saying Merc looks like an Accord, Merc already had these lines down in 2007. The only thing remotely similar is the rear window kink, and idgaf cause it works with the car.

Im the most hardcore BMW fanatic I know, but I'd buy the merc just for the engine sound. Im not feeling the way it looks though. Not too crazy about the GTS looks either, but id have a normal M3 for everyday sutff and then the BS just to thrash around in.
Why can't BMW make something that sounds that nasty??? |

I hate to say this, but the benz does look more aggressive and just all around nicer compared to the gts. That gts spoiler is just....awkward.

I love my M3, but the GTS just didn't bring enough to the party for the 2x price they asked for it, to me. C63 BS is the first Merc that I really like the look of. I think if I wanted a four seat car in that price range it would be the BS for me!

I like that Mercedes kept its Control Centre inside whereas BMW has lost the iDrive

It is very sad that GTS looks aftermarket and ordinary next to C63 BS. That rear wing of GTS looks awful. And those seats directly taken from Recaro
Motorsport has failed. There is no answer from BMW to C63 BS. |

I've always liked the understated subtle look of BMW as well.

the best word to describe Merc's styling was used in the Top Gear episode upon release of the e9X M3 and the C 63 AMG. The word was "glitzy" and I believe it was said by James May.
I just will always see Mercs as over-torqued and under-chassis vehicles with very extreme "glitzy" type styling. Not the styling of atrue race fanatic! I mean honestly who makes an engine that can't not even be handled by the chassis underneath?!? The SL 65 AMG is the car I am referring to. This engine was too strong for the chassis but they produced it anyway. That makes a lot of sense! The engine is awesome as far as sounds and straight line performance goes but what else does it really have to offer?!? To each their own. All I am saying is my passion for auto mobiles/ racing will always lie with BMW. BMW FTMFW!
