Spring install Calgary.. Help?!
Hi guys,
Brought springs several weeks ago from a member on here in Calgary, have not had a chance to get them installed until now but every shop I have called; Riegel Tuning (quoted me 3x the cheapest quote I got from the next ones mentioned LOL!), Vitek, Motorwerkes and Sheni's are booking for like next month, I don't think I have missed any trusted shops here in Calgary as these are my absolute preferred list. So my question, is there anyone that is free anytime before the meet (June 2nd) that could help me install them? I am sure we could work out some kind of agreement and this way I could learn how to do it myself for future reference. 3 things; the springs are H&R, I would expect you to know exactly what you are doing and treat my car as if it were your own, and lastly, if you have the time then consider my schedule free whenever as you will be helping me out BIG TIME. Thanks guys! Hopefully somebody can come through. Last edited by BMW Fanatic; 05-25-2012 at 05:31 PM.. |

Those are definitely the main shops.. it's summer so they are busy. Have you tried Nurburgring? Spring install on the E9x is a PITA and having a lift really helps.

I even got at AE tuning, completely absurd telephone service. Calgary Autoworks, said they have to get back to me. Just called Nurburgring Ltd and the guy is grilling me 21 questions about how I got the name of his shop and telephone number and why I am NOT going to the stealer. Hung up on those 3 guys. Whatever happened to good service, I mean if I call a shop and that first conversation over the phone doesn't meet my expectations I am not going to hang around.

Regal/Tunerworks more then likely included a wheel alignment. Which would add to the cost and you will know that it gets done right.
They did my spring install and I did not think the cost was out of line with what I have seen other places.

Riegel Tuning is the installation side of things over at TunerWorks. Quote:
I will not say how much the final price was but it was definitely well over $1500. Everyone else gave me good prices with alignment also. User; Taunto (Justin) messaged me on here last night and he works at a shop in Red Deer, I don't mind the drive. He is going to let me know if we can go ahead with this or not, on Monday. I will update the post accordingly. Also, what the hell is going on with your car bro?! I hope it gets fixed soon. |

My problem seems to be a common problem for e9x M3s. Hopefully gonna have my car back some time this week. For now I have an X1 loaner.
