Yes, it does for EPS equipped vehicle, but i have Hifi stereo system which doesn't come with it. That's why we were having misunderstanding.
For Hifi Stereo System (Base for M3): It comes with standard version which doesn't come with crossovers. (Front: $349). For EPS: It comes with better version which does come with crossovers (Front: $499). BTW, i'm still very curious how it will sounds. Please keep me posted! Thank you! http://www.bavsound.com/product/596/...Series-M3-E92/ Quote:

I see. I thought you were talking EPS replacement. So, I priced a replacement set of EPS speakers through one of the popular OEM sponsors on the forum and it comes out to just about the same price as the BSW set. Even though the BSW are on the way, I may just go back to EPS OEM since from most of the feedback I've received says that the EPS is a better setup.

im currently running the MB Quart speakers, tweeters and subwoofers and wow they are very nice, currently I have them connected the stock amp and the sound is so much better. I will be RTA testing the speakers with the stock amp and will post information. I am looking to see how much of a beating the amp can take and then upgrade to my MB Quart amp

I got my BSW Stage 1 for EPS today. By the time I got home for work, I only had time to replace the center channel and rear deck. The quality looks and feels great. Install is very simple and can be done by anyone with the proper tools so you don't scratch up your trim. The center channel cover was somewhat painful to get off. Once I have the system complete (probably over the weekend), I'll compare the sound quality with my buddy's E92 EPS with the same source, song, EQ setting, and volume.

My center EPS channel is definately blown. The tweeter on the driver's side doesn't play anything, so I assum that's blown and the left front door speaker sounds blown too. The passenger side sounds good. This is all due to water getting into my amp and shorting out my system.

Installed the rest of the BSW speakers over the weekend. I'm no audio expert, nor could I give you any technical specs on differences between the speakers, but the sound is great. I haven't had good speakers in my car since mid-Nov so I really forgot how the EPS sounded. I can tell you that the majority, if not all of my EPS speakers, felt damaged and/or blown from the amp shorting out due to water incursion (and that was just because of rain, not because I left my trunk open or anything.

This looks good! What i found from your comparison of EPS and BSW speakers are BSW speakers looks much better in quality (i'm not an expert, so it might be just from the look), but it does look much better. How does it sound?

EPS speakers are very good. I doubt there would be a large difference just by swapping the speakers. Main bottleneck is OEM EPS amp, that's where you get most bang for your buck if you're willing to replace it.

Like I said, the sound is great. I'm comparing that to speakers that were either blown or damaged. I plan on comparing them with my friend's E92 EPS using the same source, same song, same EQ settings (recommended EQ settings from that thread), and same volume. I think there's probably some difference comparing E90 to E92 but that's what we have. I concur that the EPS amp is the limiting factor, but from what I understand, and I might be wrong, it's fairly difficult to just swap out the EPS amp.

Those look pretty nice, but as others have said, the limiting factor is the amp.

Yes, they were about the same. Not much of a difference.
