Up for sale is my E36 BMW M3 Sedan, 5-speed manual transmission, with 158,500 miles, and black exterior and dove grey leather interior. This car has been my baby and it's hard to let it go, but it's time to make some space in the garage.

I have owned it since 2008 and 102,000 miles and have most of the service records from the life of the car. The original owner was from Massachusetts and had all maintenance done at a BMW dealer there. The 2nd owner was from Plymouth, MN and had all work done at a BMW specialist mechanic, Orr Autosport. The third owner had the car only a short time before selling it to me. I've done some maintenance myself, and the rest has been done at Euro Autoworks in Woodbury, MN.

No accidents or track use; clean title. Almost 100% stock and all OEM parts (see radiator exception below). The engine is strong. I put a new clutch in when I bought it. A few years ago I put in some new injectors and replaced the entire front suspension - control arms, shocks, springs, lower/front control arm bushings, tie rods.

Last year I did the rear shocks, brakes all around, valve cover gasket, serpentine belts, and cooling system - thermostat, water pump, and radiator. Only OEM parts were used for all maintenance, except the radiator. The OEM radiator is plastic and I replaced it with a welded aluminum radiator from Mishimoto, which is far superior.

The car needs tires soon. I was going to put some on, but I figured the next person would want to choose whether or not to put on all-season tires vs. summer tires, or other preferences. There's a bit of clunking in the rear end when going over bumps. It doesn't bother me that much, but you may want to replace the bushings in the rear. Most everything works. One exception is the 6-disc CD changer does not work. The other item that needs attention is the airbag system. There's an occupancy sensor on the passenger side (I think it is part of the seatbelt clip) that needs to be replaced.

There is NO RUST. The car has not seen snow, at least since I bought it. I've only been putting on about 5,000 miles a summer, and it has always been stored in the garage. The exterior is in excellent shape for a 20-year-old car, with just a few minor door dings and rock chips. For the most part the interior is in pretty good shape as well. However, both front seats have tears in the leather (see pictures). I've looked for replacement seats, and they're pretty hard to come by. I think covering them might be best, but figured I would leave that to the next owner to choose their preference in cover style, or whether a leather repair is done.

I put new floor mats in recently, and it has fresh October '18 tabs.

PM me with any questions you have.
