That Evolve though. Maybe I should reconsider the "Sport" X-Pipes.

Do eeet, phenomenal product, manufactured by Supersprint so you know its quality. It meets your criteria of secondary cats + resonators so its not full catless. I think this is the ultimate option for you.

You're not wrong.

Anyone know how the Evolve compares to the Challenge Sport?

Don't forget you need a tune or some way of turning off the CEL unless you want the light left on.

I haven't heard the Evolve in person, only heard good things. Same with the challenge sport though. Tough decision!

Actually I had tried challenge, Aa and the rare encore innovation xpipe with hfc. All with OEM rear unmodded. It was surprising how different they all sounded from a volume perspective. Encore innovation was by far the best. Bit louder and more high pitched. It has thinner walls than the others and helps it sound a bit better. Pipe diameter is slightly bigger than Aa.If you can find a used one that would be good find.

Rasp is subjective. Xpipe with oOEM is to me the best sounding existing setup of all options due to zero drone, high pitched with no low end deepness and a nice level of natural rasp.

Has nobody heard Ferraris or lambos? They have a nice rasp as any high rpm engine does when able to flow freely

Great info here. Did all the x-pipes you tried remove the primary cats?

What were your thoughts on the Challenge specifically? I'm leaning that way now.

i ran my challenge sport with my stock muffler no mod! while changing mufflers. The challenge with a stock system sounds good but is not loud, i would say around the Akra slip on by itself. Running any x-pipe with the exhaust mod just sounds painful IMO.

We carry the Macht Schnell brand:

Same one used on DLSJ5's VT3-725 Supercharged beast making almost 700whp with the OEM muffler.

Modded Oem exhaust and test pipes(Primary cat delete only) does not drone at all. Sound is IMO perfect, raw yet somewhat refined. OEM exhaust mod and full cat less does sound raspy and will drone.
