Yep, Dynapak's are known to read higher than DJ's, that's my car, and plenty of other cars have used that Dynapak in our area, it does read high IMHO.

Nope that is WHP, FWIW my VT2 made ~590whp SAE and 600WHP STD on a well known DJ, "Specialty Z" in our area so they can and do make more than 570, take a look in the dyno data base, plenty there.

With a single or twin throttle bodies, a positive displacement application is like this: Throttle body(s)=> Supercharger=> Intake ports
In our cars with ITBs it's like this: Supercharger=> Velocity stacks => Intake ports

The wastegate-like valvetronic system in Harrop's design (similar to Audi's) is what that enables us to run a positive supercharger, it releases boost off throttle. Otherwise we would blow the manifold or velocity stacks.
Again, that's not boost control

Audi's sueprcharged 3.0t motor (both the lower power one and the S4 motor) actively bleeds off boost ~4700rpm on up, even with the throttle closed. That's why you can make power with just a tune on those cars.

Do you have a bypass as well, for light throttle applications? Seems that fuel economy would suffer badly without.

The VT2-625 dyno is wheel also. It is the same dyno "dynopak" and correction as the other. It was used for comparison I'm sure to show the difference using the same testing method.

Thanks for that. I always remembered your VT3 kit dynoing in the very high 600s, which is why I was shocked to see a VT2 kit at 660 whp. It always amazes me how much things vary from dyno to dyno.

So it's okay for you and others to comment on how good the graph looks, but it's not okay to compare it? Especially when others want and have asked and are waiting to see some kind of comparison to the Vortech? If anything it makes it look good in comparison to the same psi, the VT625 is the ONLY dynapak Vortech result we have and my car was running 2.5 psi more that day (8psi), it makes sense and there is nothing wrong with comparing things as long as they are put in the proper context, which I believe RG always tries to do. I think it's fair to point out that Dynapak's to tend to read high as well.

No problem, I think your skepticism was warranted! Totally agree on the varying #'s from different dyno's as well, the VT3 probably would make 730+ on that Dynapak, lol. The VT3 kit has always been a progression of power, I wanted to take it slowly, now it is up to around 700whp STD, and 690WHP SAE.

Define "unreleased, unofficial dyno chart?" I've seen plenty of guys reviewing tunes and new supercharges by saying things like this: "I just flashed the 20th tune from the vendor, and MAN it's so much better..." When I see that, I immediately ask the same question: "does that mean the first 19 tuning files are unreleased, untested, and unofficial? Does this tuner even know what they're doing?" Same thing with these "dev tunes." If they're not released and unofficial, then why are people talking and promoting them? See where that discussion goes?

As for comparing...that's what people do. You already saw the first comments comparing before I even posted the first graph (without comparison). The purpose of the comparison (as stated) was to compare graph shapes, not output. I don't see anything wrong with that. If the vendor didn't want them posted and compared, they shouldn't have made them public. Pretty basic.

Don't have the time or energy to debate with you. Looking forward to seeing official charts released by Harrop themselves. This is going to be a killer kit.

I and tons of other folks love to see comparisons of different S/C kits, tunes, etc. when dynos are provided for them. There is nothing wrong with this at all IMO.

I'm thinking about getting another M3 and installing this twin screw blower so I can use it to tow my ESS/Vortech blown M3 to the race track.

That twq has to feel great..

still skeptical about finally getting a dyno graph, thats old, with no boost or AFR, and a claimed "only 5.5 Psi"

So ill wait until one of these hits the streets and we get some 3rd party feedback.

I also heard BPM has a vested interest, as he is doing the tuning..

Not really accurate, but looking forward to the results and putting this bad boy on my M3. I'm not at liberty to discuss any involvement.

I thought you already had the answer? You said as much on the last page. Or were you just talking out of your ass as usual?
