What a S65 Piston looks like cross sectioned.

So I though I'd cut up a junk S65 piston I had after doing a rebuild and share the results.
What do you guys think?

Cool, thanks for sharing. That looks like a nice thick dome. I guess that design could be lightened but at a compromise for strength.

Pretty cool. Wish I had one to decorate my work bench (but don't intend on rebuilding my engine any time soon!).

Nice cut-a-way! I could use your skills in my classroom, I have a few hundred more parts what would make nice teaching aids.

VCP is doing the build and Ill be busy rebuilding the top end of a ticky N52 motor. As for spec on the motor maybe the owner will share when he's got his car back. but heres one more fun photo...
