But at the end of the day the Nissan looks like ass and the Mercedes reliability is in question. You have the better of the three vehicles IMO.

yeah, it's all in fun. I pulled up next to the GT-R afterwards to talk shop. it was some father (smiling ear to ear) with his adolescent son. the kid looked as if he was about to piss himself - I was at 8k RPM in third when I pulled off. prob 90+ through a windy section of road.

I don't understand why people compare or race a car that is in a totally different class. A lot more money, tons more power and performance. Just like another thread of a supercharged guy racing a 458.. THe m3 is a relative boy racer and has that image because of these types of things. Always pretending its a car that it isn't.

true, to a degree - but I don't seek these battles out. this guy today in the GT-R hunted me down. I could see him playing catch up in the rear view . . . and then, well, boom.

GTR will beat pretty much anything on the road, even cars with a good amount more HP cant come close with the GTR's AWD, them things are AMAZING! if i can the M will be gone for a GTR in a second.

Well most of us don't like to pick on Honda Civics or Acura RSXs. We like fun races. Who cares if you are in a different league and quite honestly most E92 M3 owners can afford a Nissan.

Most of us don't live out of our car. Some of us have multiple nice vehicles and a paid off home. Not just some $90k car and nothing else.

Hahaha...also got GT-Rd the other weekend early sunday am...he and I took off up a hill from about 40 mph to 100 before hit windy section...actually kept even with him pretty well (he didn't pull away), but once we hit the curves it was game over for my car and he was pulling bus lenghts! Was actually impressed the M kept up with him up the hill at WOT, but the GT-R is different animal altogether once it combines speed with corners. Afterwards we waved to each other....fun being the underdog sometimes!
