ED date

I ordered my M3 over 4 weeks ago and my dealer couldn't confirm my requested ED dates (March 8th). My dealer didn't do much of any investigation on my part. This week I stopped in and I hear back that "BMW" can't give them a date until January 11th. This is pissing me off. I ordered in plenty of time (Dec 10th) for the delivery when I wanted it. Now I'm betting it will be cocked up.

It took BMW Canada 5 weeks to figure out the interior codes & pricing for my car and according to the printout that I got this week appears to be correct.Mine is scheduled for the last week of February so I should have it for April.

Seems as though the US dealers have way more experience with ED. Good luck figuring things out!

The month of zero feedback from BMW was frustrating, however today I hear that my ED date was confirmed for Marh 9th (I requested 8/9/10 March as my three options).

Good news.Yes the lack of information from BMW Canada is quite disapointing to say the least.

Couldn't get my wife and son over for the 9th, so i switched dates to the 14th. It was surprisingly simple. BMW Canada were able to confirm the date switch in a single day. Go figure.

Flights booked, added 5 days to my count down, but now things are really rolling.

The fact that you think about ED with another meaning besides European Delivery concerns me deeply and it sounds like I need to speak to your wife and offer my help to her

Thank you for your concern, but I assure you it is misguided. Besides
I believe I read a post about you implying that you preference was Not for the opposite sex. For some reason that post is no longer part of the thread.
