Is anyone running 19x10 front / 19x11 rear?
It seems these wheel widths are the widest possible with some camber and fender rolling.
I know you can go wider if you stretch the tires, but I'm not into that. So seems like 10 front / 11 rear is optimal (with correct offset of course). If you can please post photos, that would help me visualize it better. Thanks! |

Do you have an E9X M3?
1) you cannot roll the fenders on these cars. 2) no camber adjustment is needed on stock suspension to run any kind of setup (within the correct offset parameters of course). 3) I ran 19x10F w/265/30/19 and 19x11R w/295/30/19. No rubbing at all. She just wouldn't give (I'm a dirty bastard). Hope that helps! |

Yep E92 M3. Lowered on coilovers. Do you have photos of your setup? I'd love to see it!

Im going to be running 265/30f and 295/30r and was told I will have zero rubbing lowered on KW Sleeves...

The setup is immaculate. I just don't know if 25 series sidewall is going to be too little tire for me (he's on 20's). That's why I was looking at 19's but in the same 10f/11r widths. |

I am running 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 on 19x10 and 19x11. Also lowered on coils with -2.5 up front and -2.0 rear. No rubbing. There is a picture in the FS section.

19x10 and 19x11 are possible but offsets, camber, suspension type, tire size, tire brand/model etc. all become important factors. Some coilovers reduce inner clearance in the front (KW's are the most common) which makes fitting a 10" wheel more challenging. It is also more difficult in some ways with 19's because there is less ability for the tire to stretch due to the shorter sidewall (when compared to 18").
What suspension are you using or planning to use? I went through great lengths to fit 10" wheels 275mm tires on my car with KW Clubsports. Here are the specs that I would recommend. Be prepared for some trial and error depending on the tire you use (each tire has it's own shape which impacts fitment): A suspension that reduces front inner clearance 19x10 et17 * 275/30/19 19x11 et30 295/30/19 *Success of this offset requires around -2.0 negative camber. A tire with a rounded side-wall will be easier to fit (like a Michelin PSS). A square shaped tire may be difficult to fit (such as Yokohama AD08). Outer fender clearance will be a challenge depending on your ride height and camber setting. A suspension that maintains OEM inner clearance: 19x10 et25 275/30/19 19x11 et30 295/30/19 *Success of this offset requires around -2.0 negative camber. A tire with a rounded side-wall will be easier to fit (like Michelin PSS). A square shaped tire may be difficult to fit (such as Yokohama AD08). This offset will reduce the outer fender clearance challenges but inner spring clearance will not allow the use of KW coilovers unless you swap to a shorter spring.

so if im doing 19x10/19x11 F14's lowered on KW Sleeves would you recommend PSS tires over Hankook ventus'? (due to the sidewalls)

I will use your specs above as my starting point. Now to find a quality wheel manufacturer who has wheels close to these specs. (BBS LM is the only one that comes to mind for me.) But that's probably reserved for another thread discussion. |

Thanks for the pics, Bart! If I remember correctly, you had a set of LM's on your car. Any reason you decided to switch up to Vorsteiner? Just curious. Also, do you know if Vorsteiner wheels are TUV certified? Thanks in advance for the info!
Edit: Looks like you're trying to rebuild LMR's now. I can't keep up with you ballers! LOL Is rebuilding wheels the only way to get the exact fitment you want? (Not you specifically, but in general). Last edited by InspireSiR; 05-01-2014 at 03:58 PM.. |

I would recommend PSS over Hankook Ventus because I think the PSS is a far better tire. The PSS is only a few hundred more than the Hankook so it's a no-brainer in my mind. Both of those tires have a curved side-wall but the Hankook runs slightly narrower than the PSS. That may or may not be a factor for you depending on your offset, and suspension/alignment settings.

---- Also running 19x11 and 19x10 BBS LM 25 offset all around, 295 rear and 275 front. Looks perfect. Only slight rub in rear over bumps.
