Repainted OEM valve cover with 800-degree high temp primer and 800-degree high temp final coat of gloss dark gray paint. I did not paint inside the gasket grooves. Many people who repaint their valve covers make this mistake, which causes oil leaks. I also used 1000 grit and carefully removed debris in the gasket grooves.
