damn i know how you feel man. when i had my 335 a few years ago i had both my ACS roof wing and trunk spoiler taken off while my car was at a mall parking lot. really does suck... but after that i used liquid concrete adhesive.. never stolen again..

To be honest, I'm surprised more wings are not being stolen ... it seems so damn easy to take off. I suspect another BMW/M3 owner did it because most people would probably not know that's it attached only by double sided tape.

Cupertino is a nice area, but I guess there are some bad apples (pun intended).

I'll keep an eye out for any local wing sale.

If it was a planned job that is scary. I have been to Vallco twice in my life including yesterday, not particularly by choice but by necessity. Cupertino has never really struck me as a shady place...nor an interesting one, but that is another topic. You just never know these days I guess.

Regarding the beta link, for those who have it already or are considering installing with double stick tape (and I suppose know for sure that they don't ever want to remove the spoiler), I'd say beta link is a good idea. For me, I'll keep it spoiler-free and clean, once I have time to take off the adhesive and wash the car. I'm not planning on keeping this car long so it's not a big deal for me, plus get to try something different.

As for the title, I'm glad you found it entertaining. I'm not pissed or anything about this, stuff happens and sometimes the only thing you can do is laugh about it.

I'm sorry to hear about your spoiler. Where you thinking about buying a different car?

Damn I just got my spoiler and was going to 3M it... maybe I'll betalink it now since I'm in the cupertino area a lot too. This spoiler can go on any E92 which is probably why it's popular
