I'm also waiting for a track day review......since I'm "shopping" for a similar setup.... but I am leaning towards spending a bit more $$$ and getting the CCW setup with 9.5" front and 10.0 or larger rears.......ideally I would love to have 275 fronts and 315 rears...if it will fit without fender mods & I don't know if it will.....

Dinan has finally put up their mega-bux wheel setup for the E92 M3 on their website. They don't quote offsets but they call for 275-30x19 on a 9.5" rim at the front and 295-30x19 on a 10" rim at the rear. Presumably 275-35x18 and 295-35x18 would work as well on 18x9.5 and 18x10's. I suspect the offsets have to be perfect, though.

This will let you shop by size or by brand:
http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AW8&...ires/index.jsp

R1 is an excellent track tire. Performance is competitive with Hoosier R6, and durability seems to be better for most people.

I assume they require their front camber plates with this setup?

When I looked last week, the only parts Dinan listed for the E92 is the set of wheels. No other suspension or drive-train parts. So, apparently you don't need camber plates because they don't offer camber plates for you to need. At least, not yet.

No, you don't need camber plates to fit a 9.5" in the front.

I have Dinan camber plates on my 2007 335 E90. I assume they transfer to the M3

a 9.5 or 10 inch wheel will fit under the front - but it will stick out a bit. the rear stock wheel fits in the front but looks a bit silly. since I planned to run a 265 all the way around there was no need for me to go to a wider/heavier tire.

I will revive this ancient thread to ask a relevant question: what hot pressures did you run with the BFGs last year on the track with your setup? Thanks.

37 to 43 hot. BFG has a nice 5 or 6 page PDF will all kinds of info on the tires including temps to look for. i think you can link it from the tire rack site. if you can find it let me know.

This thread is over 3 years old and haven't seen the OP around in a while. There are plenty other threads in the forum discussing this topic.
