Took my dad for a ride
Up and down 13 turns near my house. Not a long drive but very tight twisties. Upon our return to his house his comment was " this car was made by god"!

My dad loves my car too. He comes from a life of BMW's but never got into modding. But I always catch him staring at my car. Lol oh fathers. |

Beautiful thing about DCT is allowing other people to enjoy the car without harming it. I let my dad have a go and he wasn't too impressed until I told him to push the M button. A few Russian curse words were spoken in the next few minutes.

The advice I always find myself giving guest drivers is to push past 7000 rpms. Everyone who is not used the car has a natural tendency to shift well below that range.

Funny thread
My dad came with me on my re-delivery trip (He lives in TX) when I picked my ///M up at Steve Thomas. I handed him the wheel a few times on the drive back to WA. He said "man this car is addicting..." Yes indeed it is

Nice! I want to take my dad out in mine. He was an F-A18 fighter pilot so I may not get the same reaction.

I love this thread! I threatened my Dad that I was going to take him up onto some twisties near here. He was like "uhhhhh, I don't know...". I'm like "Dad you will LOVE it!" The man grew up loving and working on cars, and even though he was around so many "muscle cars" in his youth, I already know he likes the M. He got to "dry her off" after I washed her at his house right after I got her.

took my dad on a little road trip before, early morning and when no one was on the road he asked what she can do. little burst of acceleration was followed by "wow. your radar detector works right?"
