Thumbs up Another satisfied customer of David Aviles

Just picked up my 2011 M3 coupe last week from David Aviles of eurocarsonline and Northwest BMW. Everything has been perfect! European delivery was an awesome experience and I'm hoping to get the time to do a full write up on that soon. Worked out to about $500 over invoice with all the options I wanted. David is a straight-up professional. In 3 emails I had my price, 2 more and my delivery date was confirmed. Earlier I had cruised some of the NY area dealers, but they were a joke. Some told me they couldn't do European delivery, or that the E.D. MSRP was the discounted price. Some even wasted my time using the BMW build page to give me a price. Drunk on money I think. Too used to people not even negotiating on a new BMW. Go to David! Car arrived quickly, and no worries about someone drilling your bumper for plates- I drove all the way home from Baltimore with the German plates still attached, grinning the whole way.

So it took about two months between Euro drop off and delivery in the USA?

Took about 3 weeks from Munich drop off to get to the USA, then it sat in Customs/ prep for another 2. All in all, pretty fast.

had the same experience - at all the 3 dealerships I went to, they pulled up the bmwusa website to build the car and then offered to sell for MSRP or slightly less. David gave me a great quote right off the bat.

Congrats on your car, have fun!

Just curious if anyone knows if he's on vacation or normally takes forever to respond?

Sent him an email 3 weeks ago, no reply. Sent him a follow-up email a week ago... nada. Sent him a PM on here 3 days ago and still no response. Going to give up if it takes this long.

I would guess that he's busy with something else as his voicemail was full yesterday... and that's extremely rare. He normally respond to emails and return calls within a day.

+1. He will respond. If it is more urgent, give him a call. Never had a problem communicating with David.

I bought mine through him as well. Good guy to deal with. Quickest way to get in touch with him is to just call him.

I ordered my car through David as well and got invoice pricing from my AW/FR E90 M3. Thankfully I had one of the last allocations for the E90

Ryan Amico is responsive but he usually quotes a few hundred dollars over the invoice-again amazing price by comparison with 95% of SA's out there. David/Northwest BMW and Ryan/Steve Thomas BMW are great to deal with and its great to have them both as resources.

With David-there is no drama-he'll configure the car with you over the phone, give you his price, see if there's an allocation, give you an estimate for delivery then its upto you if you want to pull the trigger. Once completed-simply fill out the BMW credit app and fax it to him. I got my production number within a few hours of placing the order.

The best part is that he's also local to me.

As of today-my car is waiting to be loaded onto a ship and then its Performance Center Delivery for me 2nd week of September.

Talk about fast

Don't give up. I think he might have gone to Bimmerfest this weekend, having just gotten a new M himself. Keep trying, he's worth dealing with.

He was in Bimmerfest, he called me Saturday. I'm also waiting for the updated MY2012 order sheet as the one that I got is pre-MY2012 pricing.
