2011 E90 Sedan Order Confirmed Late Last Week - "Superman Color Combo"

Just received the good word last week. I won't take delivery until November 21 in Munich. It will be well worth the wait. Probably won't see the car here until late Dec/ early Jan

Special thanks to Ryan Amico for the great deal and patience.

I might have one of the last E90 M3's made.

I haven't even had a chance to think about a trip itinerary yet.

Now onto the specs:

Lemans Blue/ Fox Red/ Carbon Leather Trim
DCT
Convenience Package
Premium Package 3
Moonroof
Cold Weather Package
Sat Radio
Auto High Beams

This will be my first BMW. I currently drive an '06 Volvo S60 R (that I will likely keep) which has been a great car. The M3 (& M5) have been on my mind for awhile now. I already have a personalized plate in mind (won't say though til I have it confirmed with WA DOT )

Glad to have made the jump finally.

Congratulations! If your delivery is in late November you just might be getting the last one off the line. That would be awesome.

Thanks man. Can't wait.

I tried for the individual rust brown interior but BMW said no since they are near the end of production.

if you didn't go for the ED, would you have gotten it sooner?

I never checked pickup dates in Munich but I'm sure I could've gone for late September/ early October.

I elected to push the trip back to take advantage of company holidays (running low on PTO ). Seems to be the story of my life every year.

I feel the same. I decided to wait until there was a good time where the kids wouldn't be affected by my trip. So I'm taking ED delivery on November 24 for my E90 M3.

This was only possible because Ryan confirmed many months ago that the ED was possible so late. He's awesome!

You'll have to let me know what your itinerary ends up being if you're still there on the 24th.

I don't know much tooling around you'll be doing in Germany around that time but there are laws regarding snow tires during the winter months in Germany. Since the M3 comes with summer tires here is link reagarding driving in the winter... http://www.german-way.com/ice-snow-tires.html and here is link where you can rent snow tires for your car while in Germany http://www.edwintertires.com/Default.htm The last thing you want is to wrap your brand new M3 around a guard rail because you're on summer tires. Other than that, enjoy Germany when you get here.

I'm pretty sure I'll be around on the 24th still. The plan would be to leave the 25th or 26th. I need to check with the drop off locations on their schedules that week because of Thanksgiving. What are the specs on your M?

Thanks for the heads up. I've given that some thought already.

I heard the summer tires are usually random selection from the factory. What brands have most people been getting?

I may need to look into some all seasons for WA.
