got myself tuned

400whp CLUB...finally

Hey guys, I got tuned on sunday and here are the results.
mods: k&n filter, OEM exhaust mod....
this is with the latest 2.42 update which btw was a bitch

Not bad for just a tune. temp was 69 degrees, humidity was 49 I think.

I don't have the afr but he said I was running good and healthy.

I know it's not monstrous power like some of you guys but I think it's a good start and I'm happy with the results

Sorry, the car has an aftermarket tune and that's what yielded the increase.

I added Turner test pipes 2 months ago which resulted in 388 whp. (sorry no pic of that)

I added MS underdrive pulley and dynoed again and resulted in 400.6 whp. The pulleys did give that 12whp as promised. pics added

I don't know. my fuel pump modulator went 3 weeks ago and they updated it to the latest software(bs, it was anti-tuning software) and 2.42 is what I have on it now.

Or is the updated sofrware has something to do with it.

Looking at the power curve, its a lot smoother and the torque hold flat a lot longer.

I don't think it had anything to do with the software because my stock was run 30 min or so before the tuned run. I am really enjoying the smoothness of the engine and the tq can definitely be felt after 3000 rpm in first gear

I had mine upgraded to the latest software as well. The difference you feel is the added hp and torque of the latest 2013+ software. Not the k&n filter or exhaust.

Ok, I don't think you guys understand. The software yielded 353, tune yielded 379, had really nothing to do with software.

What tune are we talking about? You forgot to mention any aftermarket company in the OP

Yes I did and I definitely recommend him. If you are in md/dc area, go to frank, you will not be disappointed.

This is so confusing..so you got an aftermarket tune?..or a software update from the dealer?..the latter is not going to yeild a 30HP bump..i dont think

Is it really this difficult? The ONLY reason I mentioned the UPDATE was to inform you guys that it has the latest update. Then I went 2 weeks later and did a baseline that yielded 353whp, tuned it, and after 20 min did a few pulls, it was 379 after adaptations. THAT'S IT.

Ok..got it..but it would have been easier to plainly say that in your OP..nice gains.
