I think my full gintani catless sounded pretty exotic toned it down with a remus sport, still sounds good but nowhere near exotic like before.

these vids are crappy quality so its not fair to judge from these bc it sounds so much better in person. i wasn't able to get any at high revs either. it get higher pitch and more exotic in the higher revs. but here is some idea. what area you in?? if were close you can hear mine in person

i will try to get some with a full rev range and fly by when i have an extra person with me

I seriously think Periokid's modified stock exhaust is pretty exotic sounding.

Skip to 8 minutes for the runs.

If you're voting off YouTube videos the winner will always go to the best video/mic setup. You really need to hear them in person to know what any really sound like.

It just goes to show how exhaust sounds are so subjective. To me, the Eisen Race and Gintani seem more mucle car like since they are deeper sounding.

My meisterschaft Gts exhaust has a nice high note right at 3.5-5.5k and then just screams afterwards.

The GTS is the one I'm going for next week I believe. I have RPi's catless X-Pipes tho so lets see how it goes. Sounds nice in the video, but it looks like u need a lot more space to really punch it!

i agree those two also sound more muscle car. mine even has some deep tones below 3k, after that it gets higher pitched

The OP asked which exhaust was the most exotic sounding, not which was the cheapest or the loudest. The answer to that question is simple, K-sig, more specifically, the "F-1" selection.

^+2 those may sound louder, but the K-sig filters through a more "Italian" sound. The meistercrap sounds like a mustang w/flowmasters...

^Thanks for the vids, they only support what myself and others have mentioned...sounds like NASCAR.

I believe this vid below best represents where the OP was targeting within the aural spectrum...

Wait, where did the OP go?

haha rigghtt, thats your opinion....but i guess posting a video of a ferrari which has an entirely different kind of engine is relative to this thread? there is no way to duplicate THAT sound on THIS car.....you would have to actually witness the gintani, meisterschaft, aa, eisenmann etc....in person vids dont do justice, theres plenty of m3's in SoCal so it should be hard to check out what other people got....and IMO my car sounds very exotic after 3,000RPM and I love that idle muscle car rumble

It is obviously a different v8 engine with inherently different characteristics, (that is so aparant I didn't think it needed mentioning) nonetheless provides an example of what an exotic car (not just a loud car) sounds like.

Care to chime in OP?

i guess it wasnt apparnt since u posted a vid of a ferrari...but bottom line the OP should check out other members exhausts, theres plenty of m3's in SoCal...i would have definitely done that but their isnt much of an m3 crowd over here..
