Pick Up Soccer in SoCal Anyone?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to see if anyone in the greater Orange County region knows of any good spots for pick up soccer, and if not...then maybe starting one up with the board members if there is enough interest.

I've been looking for a while and it's extremely cliquey so it's hard to get in with certain groups of individuals. I thought it'd be cool if we could get a good group of automotive enthusiasts to play the beautiful game. It would obviously be free to play and all for fun.

Please post if you know of anything like this or would like to get involved in a new group amongst ourselves.

so i spoke with some friends/people and the general consensus is to hold the games Sunday late afternoons/early evening, say starting at 5, 6, or 7...

the meet up spot has yet to be confirmed, but it would be a centralized location so that all who would like to participate would have the opportunity to come out.

i did get it started but i had 1 person from the boards come out and the rest were friends of my own...haven't had another meeting since, just not enough demand i guess

and it most definitely was central OC, we met up at Peralta Park in Anaheim Hills

I'm actually from Anaheim Hills. I used to coach a club team with OC Premier and we practiced at Peralta for a season. If you guys still get together, maybe I can stop by one day.
