For the non-drinkers, have you ever been in a situation where everyone else is drinking but you? How did you feel and how did you deal with it?

For me, the people I know are understanding (even though they may know me as an avid drinker in a previous life). I just explain to them that it's cool if they want to drink but I've made a choice not to drink for the time being, and they respect it. I can have fun without drinking, so it's not a big deal.

cmon guys, dont tell me you dont like popping that 1st longneck of Amstel and just taste the ice cold beer in you mouth, then you smack your lips, and its only been a sip and you know the nights going to be alright.....tomorrow is homecoming, and i dont plan on drinking too much but i plan on being drunk....ive never thrown up from drinking too much....i DO throwup from the hangovers though, as odd as that sounds...
I mean, i live on the beach, so for me, a perfect saturday mourning is going to the beahc with all your buddies, and just gettting a cooler full of brews..all different types ( i prefer Amstel and i keep to myself) but everyone has different tastes.

I've noticed this a couple times so just to let you know,

morning- the beginning of the day when you wake up
mourning- what you do when someone dies

Do you drink? Is that now, in general? Damn, I could type faster if it wasn't for this damn beer in my other hand. Well I guess I answered that question.

Ofcourse! It is very rare here in Finland that people dont drink alcohol. Actually I find it very relaxing to take a couple of beers or wine sometimes.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day. ~Frank Sinatra

The problem with drugs, including alcohol, cigarettes and illegal drugs is… there is no problem… They work.

Each drugs sole aim is to make you feel better and they all do a fine good job. Moderation is the key.

Think about it...

I drink champagne when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I have company I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I'm not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise I never touch it - unless I'm thirsty. ~ Madame Lilly Bollinger

Well I guess the only place that leaves for her not to touch it is during her sleep... though she probably drinks it in her dreams.

For the record: I don't drink (religious reasons). And for non-religious reasons: dislike the effects.

i do not drink, but its only because i have no friends and drinking alone has a bad stigma.
