Gta dealerships for 2014 x5

Hey

What do you guys think of the new x5? I drove it briefly during the x5 test event and was very impressed. Even my wife was interested! Unfortunately when I went to BMW Toronto (downtown) they were very firm on no discount only msrp since it is just released. What bs...

Had plans to get a 991 or maybe the new m3, but it's probably more practical to get an x5 for daily/winter driving and keep my e92 m.

Anyway, I'm thinking if leasing one for 3 years, and was wondering if any of you had any luck dealing with any of the gta dealerships?

Like you said, it's a new car...dealers won't give deep discounts yet.

I saw one on the road, looks pretty good.
How did it drive compared to the outgoing model??

I know you can buy better than MSRP as a friend picked up one last week with a discount from a GTA dealer.

I just bought a 2013 X5 Diesel from Budd's. I got a great deal on it since they're all on clearance now. I'm liking it a lot. It doesn't handle like my old GTI, but it's definitely a lot more comfortable! And the diesel gives amazing mileage, over 800km per tank. I don't have a salesperson there to recommend (my sales guy there who i've used a couple times is now over at Porsche Oakville).

The new 2014 are nice, but I prefer the way the dash of this last generation looks over how the drive screen sits on top now. Although the transmissions in the new model are fantastic. I know they are discounting the 2014, but it's not that much.

I haven't driven the older generation but it impressed me as a suv. It's hard to comment on steering since the m3 is much better.
I also like the interior in the new generation a lot more.

I have a friend at Endras. PM if you want some info. He will be able to work something out for you. For sure better than MSRP.

Im looking at a new X5 as well. BMW of Mississauga is only offering $1,500 off MSRP. PM the details of your deal.

I also picked up the 2013 X5 35D from Autohaus last fall and discount form MSRP was 9% + 2,500 credit from BMW. In all honesty, there is not a whole lot of difference, just a matter of preference. I like the seats on the new one better but other than that it is worth waiting for a few years and get decent discounts.

I do know that Autohaus was willing to give me 6% off of MSRP on 2014. Let me know if you would like to get additional info.

If you want a deal get a 2013. I'm sure dealers still have them on their lots and are anxious to move them. If you set on the new body style and want a deal you have to wait until the 2015's come out. It's just the name of the game!

I was at the X5 test event as well....absolutely loved it. Wish I could buy, but that would mean selling the M3
