Just bought a E92 at invoice!

I hope there's nothing fishy here but I just bought a car that was on ebay from a BMW dealer in KY for invoice. Car stickered for $73.2 and I got it for $67.8. Guy swears there's nothing wrong with the car and I've got pics showing it has 25 miles on it. It's a jet black w/FR extended and the mods will begin soon!

I'm thrilled but it seems almost too good to be true!

Hmm thats true if he's just getting off the lot and not picking it almost straight up from the truck.

Hi all,

Car was not an ordered car. I'm not too concerned with the 25 miles. Hell the last two M3's I had 600 and 1500 miles respectively (used) when I bought them. No issues with either.

I pick it up next Sat as part of a family vacation. So it will be a couple of weeks before I can post pics.

Thanks,
Barry

My old E46 M3 had 27 miles and bird crap in the hood for being under a tree for a couple of months at the dealer when I bought it... other than a sticky front caliper, the sucker was bulletproof for almost 4 years.

Doesn't seem very odd with all of the M3s for sale right now.

That's the one! This will be my 4th Mcar, 7th BMW and first non-manual. I definitely like the DCT better than the SMG in the M5 I test drove. I am a little concerned about teething problems with the trans but every new thing that BMW does always has some sort of issue in the first year or so.

Thanks again!

Barry, I drove your car yesterday morning!

Jet Black, extended red leather, loaded (or nearly loaded, I can't remember if anything was missing...).

I was just laying the ground work with my CA...and I want a Space Grey, so we never even started to talk price. Had I known that they'd sell it to me at invoice...I might have gone ahead with the Black!

As far as I could tell, the car was perfect. Since I wasn't going to buy it, I didn't give it a thorough going over, but I certainly didn't notice anything wrong with it.

Congrats!

Looks like I'll be ordering a 2009. A co-worker just bought a sedan for $500 over invoice from this dealer. With you getting a coupe at invoice, I wonder what kind of deal I can get on my '09...

For anyone else who cares...They only have one other DCT coupe on the lot. If I recall correctly, it's black on black, carbon fiberesque trim, without the premium pack, NO tech package. Someone should grab it!

I'll send my CA's contact info if anyone is interested. P.S. She's hot

It sounds like a good deal. I would find out if the car was a factory Demo; even though it has low mileage.

No worries Barry,

I took it easy.

I got on it once in 2nd for a very short stretch (kept it below 6000 RPM), but it's WAY faster than my current daily driver, so that was more than enough for me...for now...

It's a nice one Barry, I didn't beat her up.

Once again, congrats. It's nice, had I known that I could take it home for invoice, it might not have been available for you!
