I thought I would hate this color but wow it looks nice on an E90! Don't think it would be as cool on the coupe or convertible but well done. Have to disagree on the interior. I think black may have been a better choice but that bamboo certainly isn't bad.

I think it would look badass on the E92 with CF roof.

The sedan a bit taxi cab to me, still think its cool though and certainly unique.

Its one of those cars where everyone knows where you are, can spot that in a parking lot a mile away.

Enough of the comments on the bamboo interior. By the initial photo above, it looks pretty good. This Atacama looks to be a darker school bus yellow like Sonic Yellow on bug eye WRX's, and it seems to go surprisingly well with bamboo. Black is just blah, so non-extended Bamboo is a reasonable though gutsy choice.

The yellow looks amazing! So did you buy it in Arkansas and shipping it to Arizona?

I love it. Amazing color. When a Melbourne Red M3 doesn't quite get the attention you need - there's Atacama. Loud colors = more fun. At least I think so.

Interior police? People are expressing their opinions, just as you have about black.

I although not my first choice I can understand the rationale of getting a light colored interior in this case.

Lake Havasu gets mega hot!!. From June to Sept the highs are over 100 degrees every day. Jump into a car with black leather when it's 120 degrees and you will never want black again.

The combo conforms to locale.

+1 looks exactly like the color of NYC cabs

I like yellow cars, I think it looks nice, but would have personally opted for dakar II. For me, this is too "obvious" of a color--I think it belongs more on a vette. The subtle off-yellow of dakar makes it much nicer imo.

My thoughts exactly. It's a nice color but I think it needs a more flashy looking car like a z4 or vette.

Wow, I wasn't a huge fan of this color when I saw it [in person] on the Z4, but I have to say it looks DAMN good on the E90.

Thank you for not ordering something boring!
