I know there has been a lot of hate towards the IS-F here, but I think they are nice. I'm in love with its transmission. I say go for it.

Funny thing is I just seen one today on the road for first time. I'm quite a fussy guy so I'm suprised I liked it. The exhausts arent AS bad as I thought they would be. They dont look big which is sort of damage limitation lol. I would prefer twin exhausts.

Also the rest of the body looked quite clean and a decent design. Maybe it looked better because it was in motion. Things that annoyed me in pics were exhausts, side skirts, hood buldge. Anyway, if you like it you should buy it.

The dealer says it was an "executive driven demo". On the carfax which they have linked...it says the title was at one point issued to the manufacturer. Can anyone elaborate on what they might mean?

Thanks!!
The car was owned by the manufacturer and used as a fleet car, I don't think I understand the confusion.

Nobody knows who drove the car, there is a chance that it was just a fleet car that could be taken on more or less a first come first serve basis. My cousin's girlfriend works for Toyota in the LA area and they routinely visit the bay area in different fleet vehicles.

M3 with ericsson rear trunk + vorstiner front lip over > IS-F.

The IS-F looks like a IS350 with a body kit.

M3 looks like a 3 Series M Sport? Neither are that much different than the car they are based on.

I prefer the IS350 looks-wise (I hate that stupid ricer fin behind the front wheel) but the IS-F is a nice sports sedan...

That's actually a functional vent that aids in air movement.

Congrats on the new ride....they're pretty fun.

Honestly it's
m3> isf > 335i aesthetics wise.
However, the IS-F is a damn nice car to drive around on the streets and I wouldn't be ashamed to drive one. Too bad it's just so damn mod unfriendly

That is the only serious drawback in comparison to an M3 or C63. They're all close enough stock that it really comes down to buyer preference....but slap some bolt on's to either the BMW or MB and it changes very quickly.

+1 on that...I wish the IS-F had more mod options

I'd rock it. You can find used Isf's for around 47k. Not much more than a 335i. Sexy exhaust note too
