I have seen people stick HIDs in the halogen headlights, blind everyone and after 5-6 years, you see the chrome in the headlight housing burn away from the hid bulb.
And all they say is "we've never had any problem before, must be install error, bla bla bla, or this is an 'isolated case'" Like Umnitza before when a car caught on fire.
There is a reason I am leaving my car stock for the most part.

Not a problem at all, the bulbs do not get that hot, sometimes they are cooler then stocks.

Keep in mind, your Angel Eyes are always on no matter what, and many people here on the forums have put 30K+ miles on there cars over time without a single problem.

My own 335 Coupe has had them on for 3+ years now.

Not true. Here are surface temp readings of LED, HID and stock lightsources used for Angel Eyes:

Pictured are AngeliBright (left), 35W HID (center) and Halogen (right), things obviously change when installed in a sealed headlamp.

LEDs will always run the coolest out of the three, with HID temps running the highest.

i just got the v2 GP 8500 bulbs. it produces a "white" light but its very dim even at night, where only the inner halo is lite. in the middle day, forget it, it doesnt even look like its on. had it for a day and took it off. i prefer my factory yellowish, at least its visible during the day.

MORE PICTURES!!! Outside this time.

Bellof is not for the people that want the brightest solution. Bellof is a high quality kit that is plug and play (take out the old bulb, insert the new one), offers no errors, and will update the look with a whiter angel eye.

I've had the Camaraoss305 Kit for over a year now and aside from some initial frustration, the kit has been running well. It's been in operation from -30c to +30c and seen about 20,000KM so far. I recently had some flickering but it was only because the fuse was working loose and was a 10 second fix.

For the record, that is a regular HID bulb, not our Alpine HID Bulbs, I have many customers who after a long drive, have pulled out their bulbs without a burn on their hands, with hundreds of kits out there, once again, there is not one with damage to any headlight housing out there.

Our own tests show our HIDs are cooler then the OEM Halogen.

Sorry you guys have to always be between our vendor wars, I am sure any member of this forum can PM any other member who owns many of these great angel eye kits and make their own choices...

There is little to no difference between HID bulbs. There are less than a handful of factories that manufacture, with most Chinese trading companies selling re-branded HID kits.

EPE is one of the larger HID manufacturers in Taiwan, most people are running their kits and don't even realize it as it is rebranded under many different names and sold through various trading companies.

Opinions often cloud facts on forums - which is why proof is needed to substantiate these claims. If you feel I am incorrect, feel free to post your test data so we all can benefit from this thread and put this to rest.

Proof? Hundreds of customers from the deserts of Saudi to Miami with out a single damage, what more proof do you need? Read a few posts up, that guy ran the HID Angel Eyes for sometime now with over 20K miles on the car.

It is clear as day Tom, your attempting to nock down our product to sell more of yours, but its understandable, its a doggy dog world when it comes to business! I'll end our comments here.
