Your body shuts down. Normal metabolic processes slow. Caloric requirements drop. If you ingest anything before sleep, more of it turns into fat.

I usually drink my shake right after a workout at night. I don't sleep until 2-3 hours after that. Make sure you get some low cal whey protein. Don't get any mass builders.

idk how true that it... i mean its all correct minus the fact that it all turns into fat... ur chances of it turning into fat r greater if the food caloric amount is higher then the bodies demand. But if ur drinking a protein shake chances r its helping build muscle since ur body does all its repairing at the time of rest and u need the protein and aminos acids then.

Please excuse the poor spelling... im terrible at spelling.

u need to eat 5,000 calories a day. take flax seed oil with your shakes and eat lots of brown rice, potatoes, eggs, wheat bread, turkey, cottage cheese, peanut butter, spread out through the day 6-8 meals .... 5,000 calories... If u can't eat that much i would suggest smoking some cannabis indica....
u can also try salmon and tuna once in a blue moon...

What does 3-10 years get you? Looking like those steroid freaks on muscle magazines? I agree with that. But if you're talking about getting cut and gaining 20-30 lbs of muscle, then thats less than a year if you're dedicated.
