I dont get it. They werent able to re-create it with eco-friendly paints, however my paint guy was able to recreate it exactly a year ago for my friends car when it was at the body shop for paint.

And we are subject to have our materials and such inspected to receive our permits, which means all my materials are eco-friendly.

So, my paint guy is officially better then BMW's paint engineers?! :P

One of my favorite color as well, here is my retired Estoril Blue X5..
If I was able to order that color, I'd def. picked this color again.

In the blue family Le man blue owners are not taking the come back of the lost Estoril blue saved from the environmentals too well. But so it is. Le Man blue is on the out, Estoril is in. Why have three blues for the M and no OEM yellows ?

I just saw an E46 M3 yesterday in Dakar Yellow. I was like OMFG you have got to be kidding me. It's the first time I've seen a BMW in an older color. I'm guessing it was some kind of individual order.

Estoril Blue remains one of my all-time favorite car colors. I'm glad they are bringing it back.

i think they offer too many blues at the moment. They should atleast diversify it and put a yellow in there.
