Vinyl Time Attack Rings? Cool or Lame?

What do you guys think? I personally have a Space Gray E92, & Advan RS rims (powdercoated black).

Was looking at the Vinyl time attack rings EAS offers, or a custom pinstripe from a vinyl shop.

Was thinking Blue or Red.

I think vinyl in general is gaining some acceptance as vinyl wraps for cars have started to gain some popularity.

They say they are removable, so for $40, if you think you might like them, may as well give it a shot. You can always take them back off if you don't like it.

i agree with Ben... If you're unsure whether or not you will like the look...it's a no brainer.

Purely depends on the wheel and overall look the the vehicle. What may for work for some may not work for others.

Hmmmmmmmmm. Would any of those rings work all right without looking gay on this wheel, maybe?

Only reason I ask is 'cuz when I purchased wheels used, they had an extremely tiny curb mark on them, and during shipping UPS put a scratch on one of the wheels. They would be covered up incredibly easily using one of those vinyl rings, and I don't want to mess with OE Volk paint....

Lemme know your thoughts everyone? Thanks!

And to OP....Advan Racings...love it! If you have a blue car, I'd go with blue, would look really cool. Otherwise, maybe go with red as it works with a lot more colors? Silver might be ok too? Would give it more of a "polish-like" look I assume?

Thanks Chako, I was considering yellow because of my yellow brembo calipers, but I decided no way.

For me, if I do get them, I'll probably get blue or black. Car's LMB. I took tomorrow off, maybe I'll drop by EAS, you got these in stock Tom?

I'm all for Vinyl and pinstriping, but the red time attack scheme is quickly at my max of thumbs down-ness.... I say nay...
