Post title won't change after being edited?

I changed the title of this post to reflect an update with pics and DIY 2 days ago. When viewing the forum titles, it's still shows the old title. Once you click into the thread it has the new title. Why doesn't it update?

Come on, no one knows? Emailed the site admin and no reply. I see other people update their thread titles and it works.

There's a time limit for title changes (24 hours, I think). Later edits to the title of the first post won't change the thread title. I went ahead and edited your thread. Hope that helps.

OK, I see. Thanks for updating it. I have to say it seems silly to have a time limit on title changes for this very reason. If a user wants to update a topic with new info a week later, the title couldn't reflect that and other users might skip over it thinking "I already saw it."
