In light of this unfortunate event, it gives you the chance to replace the bumper with RD Sport's bumper. It's so sick! Good luck regardless.

Honestly, do not be too upset. With that damage your car will be like new after the repairs and it looks like everything can just be easily replaced and not repaired...looks like a new front bumper (the actual insides), new bumper cover (with new reflectors), new hood, and kidney grill, possible new headlight depending it its scratched. Doesnt look mechanical, suspension etc., will need any work.

J, sorry to hear about that. I can't personally recommend any shops in/around Raleigh, but post something on www.nceuro.org and you'll get plenty of responses. 95% of the people on there live in Raleigh.

Exactly my question (admittedly off topic). Is that the BMW rack? Do you like it?

2) You don't have to go where their insurance company wants you too
3) There insurance company will probably try and send you a check for less money to make you get work done somewhere cheap
4) The owner of the other vehicle is responsible to pay for damage, therefore if their insurance company won't give you enough money they are only screwing their client not you because you have the right to sue him for the rest.

I had that happen to me. I had a $900 estimate on a bumper repair 100% other persons fault. Their insurance company said here's a check for $600 we think you can fix it for that. The liability is on the owner of the other car to pay the property damage. If there insurance company doesn't want to pay full amount then it's not your problem it's theirs. So when this happened to me I went and filed a small claims suit against driver of other car. 5 days later I had a check at my house for remaining amount to fix my car.
Great advice!
