What's everybody's take on the M3 Sedan?
I'm just curious as to what everybody's feelings are on the M3 Sedan? I've read a great deal of reviews on the car, both positive and negative. Just curious what forum members' feelings are. Thanks.

The coupe = 100% performance
The sedan = 90% performance, 10% added convenience. Of the two, IMO, the coupe is much better looking. However, If you compare it to other 4 door cars in it's class, I think the sedan is the best looking 4 door car. |

I like it better than the coupe, and I like the 4 doors, so I ordered it.

Coupe all the way! I can't stand the rear on the sedan, looks too much like a 3er.

coupe looks better but getting sedan...
Yes the sedan is not a "looker" from the rear/ quite the opposite, but need it for practicality.....hopefully the quad pipes and rear diffuser can take away from the lousy rear lights.....BMW should get rid of Chris Bangle...his design of 5 and 3 sedans sucks!

i would have liked it more if the e90 came out with the e92 front at the beginning... and because that's not the case, it feels weird because it has the sedan back and coupe front

except Chris Bangle had nothing to do with the 3 series. Other than that, spot on!

The sedan is great!
The coupé is better (but only if you don't need the practicality)

I like the looks of the sedan much better then the coupe. Just my preference is all. I don't need the convenience of four doors either. I was number 1 on allocation for a e92 335i, but changed over to the e90 (also #1) as soon as I saw some additional spy photos.
Right now I'm #1 for the e90 M3.

Do you have any information or reviews that back up this statement (sedan is 90% of coupe's performance?), or are the BMW PR's about the sedan just fluff? Personally, I think the sedan looks much better than the coupe... |

I think both look fantastic. It really comes down to practicality vs. what strikes your fancy more. As I don't have to tote around kids yet, the coupe did it for me more so than the sedan. Plus my wife's car has 4 doors. No need for two 4 door cars!

I think both look very nicely done, although I like the coupe taillights much better. I have a 330i sedan for a daily so I'll be having the M3 coupe for fun. You can't go wrong with either, and I'm glad there are choices for those who need the extra practicality.

Not feeling the looks for the sedan. If I had to get a four door i'd take it over any other car, but much rather go with the coupe
