Yeah, I lost some of the building when I corrected for the distortion. I need to remember to leave myself enough space so I don't cut off the subject when I correct.
Skies have always been my bug-a-boo when it comes to conversions. Just can't seem to get them right.

Ed, looks like she's confused you for a bull. I see high expectation in her eyes.

Fall wine club shipments are coming very soon! My trusty Fuji is not forgotten in all this new camera lust. I am looking forward to handling one of their new medium format beasts when they make their way to my local shop.

I must have woken this great blue heron because he squawked and flew around me for several minutes:

Shadows
Hey guys
Finally getting back into the swing of it.... recently traveled across the USA and got to some pretty iconic locations along the way. This one is called "Shadows" from Upper Antelope Canyon in Arizona. Amazing place! Shadows by Dmitriy Khaykin, on Flickr |

I was shooting a train when I spotted a pair of kites hunting. Wish I had my 500 handy.

I love your dark interpretation of the shadows. This is not what we usually see from that spot. It's powerful.

Not a flight shot, like Ed's, but here's my raptor shot from yesterday:

This isn't the big 20-point buck that I was hoping for, but the morning light was perfect and the Rocky Mountains in the background doesn't hurt, so I'm not complaining.
Young Buck Jumps Fence at Sunrise (Explored) by David Stephens, on Flickr The 5DS-R can be a little slow and clunky, compared to the 7D MkII, but when conditions are right, the files blow me away. When I look at this one full size, it's almost 3D.
