Headlight beam vibration

I notice that sometimes when I am at a stoplight or something my headlight beams vibrate slightly. It doesnt do this all the time. Any thoughts?

No, I cannot say I have this problem. Don't you have earthquakes and/or active volcanoes out there??

Wow, I do not own an e9xM3.. But I have definitely noticed this on the 335.

I think it's the way the new headlight bulbs are situated. Is it D1S or something like that?

Anytime I go over a bump i see the headlight beam shaking. It's highly annoying.


My older e46m3 did not do this. When on it stayed exactly level. I'm surprised no one else has noticed this.

I never noticed it either but I am guessing since e9x has adaptive headlights the lens it self has moving parts so it might shake a lil. Worst comes visit your dealership to check if it is normal or not.

I had this problem repeatedly on my 335i..there was a TSB for it here..dont know if it same issue you maybe having

If you ask the CA, He'll probably say it's normal,then act all surprised because they've never come across that issue before.

I had this issue on my 335, and the dealership fixed it with no problem.
