Hey Edu, could you do me a favour and tell me all the towels/cloths you use to keep your car in top condition?

So many microfiber cloths that my mind is feeling fuzzy lol

Thanks a bunch!

Hey Justin, this is how I do it when I use Dr. Beasley's Prescription kit:
1. wash your car using the matte body wash, then dry it with 100% cotton soft towels
2. use the matte paint cleanser applying by sections (it is a spray) and wipe it with microfiber towels before it dries.
3. rinse your car again and apply with a foam applicator the matte paint sealant, one panel at a time and remove it with a microfiber towel
4. apply the matte final finish spraying it all over your car and wipe it gently with a microfiber towel.

so I use 100% soft cotton towels to dry the car after washing it and then microfiber towels to apply the Dr. Beasley's products.

when are you getting your car?

This is my 2013 Frozen Blue M3. I wash at the bay wash sites (rinse spray, brush foam, rinse off, then soft water rinse. I then dry with a chamois and micro fiber towel, no hard rubbing.

I do have the BMW matte care kit (spray spot detailer, spray wax and hard paste wax), the kit was about $200 with $130 being the paste wax. The kit came with applicators and micro fiber towels. The price was about the same as the SwissVax matte care kits. The picture was taken today just after I washed and dried the car. The wheels are the winter wheel and tire setup. I have matte black 19" 359 wheels stored.

Overall the care for the car isn't hard, just no automatic car washes.

A suggestion, I have a matte clear bra on the front (bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. I put that on to protect from stone chips. It's well worth the expense.

So I'm about to wash my car soon and want to get it right. I have some Dr. Beazley wash pads here. They seem quiet ruff?

Don't want to get any scratches on her so might grab some soft cotton towels today as you mentioned edu.

Will post some pics today

Congrats but you should post some pics to believe you .....lol
Just use some soft cotton towels, no worries, the paint will be fine, just wash it using a soft sponge and the matte body wash, water it and dry it with the soft towels, it will look like new afterwards!

Haha, yeah man, took 3 hours to wash! Well an 1hr rinse matt body wash then 2hrs with the sealant.

Noticed there's quite a few tar stains around the back and front quarter panels. Would final finish be enough to work them off? I have no idea how long they've been there.. Since the car's second hand..

Will grab some pics tomorrow (sunny), 2c outside, my hands are freezing lol

This was the car as it came from the dealer, except for Akropovic exhaust nothing has been done to the car.

Just apply more cleaner and sealant on those stains until they go out
I just got the BMW matte paint nano wax and applied it today, it is the perfect finish for our frozen paints, I think it is even better than Dr Beasleys finish, I will post some pics later today

How does everyone deal with hard water spots? I'm currently using Dr. Beasley's finishing spray, I spray, leave it on for a little while, then wipe off. Sometimes this works, sometimes it takes a few extra sprays. Didn't know if anyone had any other methods to dealing with hard water spots?

Are you using Dr.Beasleys paint cleanser spray (not the finishing spray)? Apply the cleaner as much as you need to clear the spot and then seal it with the finishing spray
